Are we art snobs at Leopold?

Certainly not. We're art lovers who believe art is for everyone—with which the gallery pups agree.

Do we carry fine art?

Yes indeed, mostly by regional artists of national consequence. But don't worry, prices aren't excessive; we carry a range of price points. Our artists are simply paid what they deserve after decades of sacrifice and privation in becoming as good as they are.

How can I learn more about the art you carry?

Easy. Come in and ask questions, give us a call, or drop us an email. 816.333.3111 / info@leopoldgallery.com

How do I commission a painting or sculpture that is specifically created for me?

We've managed over 1000 commissioned works for stadiums, office buildings, hospitals, and private homes. We speak the language of both the client and the artist and know how to manage the process so that the inspiration is never lost, and the finished work is brilliant!

How difficult is it to ship a work of art to me?

Not difficult at all. We ship works of art across the globe on a regular basis. Each piece is carefully packed and fully insured until it arrives and is unpacked and inspected by the client.

Must I pay sales tax?

Only if you live in Missouri.

How do I know that the work I want to buy is actually worth the amount charged?

We are professional gallerists and appraisers, with decades of experience pricing artwork for the art market. We're not greedy and never charge above what a piece is worth. A signed Certificate of Authenticity also accompanies each work of art.

How can I utilize your brokering services?

That's a cinch. If you want to acquire a work from another gallery, no matter what part of the world they're in, let us manage the deal for you. You'll save money and everyone will be treated fairly.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we offer plans that we can tailor to your financial needs.

Why do you have an 18' slide in the gallery?

To help bring the child out of everyone, since the arts are partly rooted in the world of play—no matter how dedicated the artist might be. Or as Picasso once said: Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.

What does it mean to be an art consultant?

That's the beautiful situtation where an executive comes to us, says he or she is opening a new office, and doesn't know what to do about the art. We say, No worries, then schedule a morning coffee, and begin exploring the dreamworld of artistic possibility—which is limitless.
