Is it a work of art? Is it a slide? It’s both and is now open to the public. In the past month roughly 500 people have gone down it. Paul’s standard remark for those who hesitate: Don’t be a weenie. Go down the freaking slide. To which one 78-year-old woman said, I’m no weenie. You watch. And down she went, laughing all the way. That's what it's for. 

There are two main ideas behind the slide: one is to encourage people to always keep the kid in them alive. It's easy to get lost in the routine and monotony of adulthood and this is our way of reminding everyone to mix things up every once in awhile. The other is to remove any intimidation people might feel about walking into an art gallery. The gallery is for everyone and we hope this encourages all to feel welcome.
